Accompanied by a passionate local guide, go to the discovery of Confluence district.
Leave old town and head south of the Lyon peninsula. You will then join the new bike paths installed along the new banks of the Saone to reach Confluence harbour. Here, you succumb to the modern and atypical architecture of the district while enjoying a certain tranquility. You will continue along the Rambaud wharf, the site of the old port installations and industrial completely renovated until you reach the extreme point of the confluence where Saône and Rhone meet.
You will also take advantage of it to discover the unusual Confleunce Museum and its gardens before crossing the gentle Raymond barre mode bridge that spans the Rhône. The park of Gerland and the banks of the Rhone are a treat for cycling safely.
Finally, you will go up the Rhone to arrive in front of the Grand Hotel Dieu, inevitable Lyonnais before joining Bellecour square.
